Christ the King monument

Due to the rising electricity rates, our partner electrical company approached us for assistance with the lighting modernization of the Christ the King monument in Świebodzin.

We were very eager to take on this project, and thanks to the involvement and support from Signify and Przemysław Wronowski, a vision of professional illumination was created.

We used the existing power supply points, but went a step further and proposed the PXM architectural lighting controller, which, based on the DMX protocol, allows for regulating intensity and power, programming scenes, and setting schedules. Due to the uniqueness of the object and the use of the existing installation, communication between the fixtures and controllers is wireless. Moreover, setting up a hotspot and using a dedicated app provides the ability to control the lighting via a smartphone.

For the illumination, we used an elegant yet durable solution: the UniFlood C Pro architectural projectors from Signify. The solid mechanical construction and highly efficient optics made it the perfect solution for such an unusual and exceptional object.

In addition to the prepared visualization, we also created an energy calculator showing the effects and specific savings.

We presented the possibility of changing the color temperature (Tunable White) and setting scenes along with power reduction. We also supported this with tests on the site.

Ultimately, our concept was approved! By achieving interesting illumination effects, we reduced energy consumption by as much as 66%.

GRODNO Lighting Division delivers a unique project for the Museum of Technology in Warsaw

Our Professional Lighting Division completed a standout lighting project for the National Museum of Technology in Warsaw, supporting the permanent exhibition “Media of Our Times - The History of Radio and Television.”

The integrator, TRIAS, entrusted us with a full design-and-build solution. GRODNO’s design team developed a comprehensive lighting concept that included:

  • General and emergency lighting - ensuring safety and visual comfort throughout the space

  • An advanced control system based on Philips Dynalite and DALI, allowing for precise light scene programming and single-button activation

  • Modern LED projectors with surface-mount adapters, seamlessly integrated with display cases

We’re proud that our solutions not only enhanced the exhibition’s visual impact but also improved its overall functionality.

Another example of how technology and design can work hand-in-hand to create spaces that inspire and educate.

Lighting the Masterpiece – GRODNO Illuminates Poland’s Only Van Gogh

"Stories of One Painting" is a special exhibition dedicated to the only Vincent van Gogh painting in a Polish collection—an extraordinary work by the Dutch post-impressionist master.
Held at the John Paul II and Stefan Wyszyński Museum in Wilanów, the exhibition is both a cultural landmark and a technical challenge: how to present a world-renowned piece of art with the respect, care, and clarity it deserves.

That’s where GRODNO came in.
