We prepared the concept for the lighting modernization of the sports hall in Polkowice. We conducted an audit that allowed us to assess the condition of the existing lighting and the possibility of replacing it with energy-efficient LED fixtures. The investor was highly focused on generating significant energy savings while maintaining high lighting standards.

We prepared a project that meets the standards and is tailored to the lighting classes for sports facilities, specifically for the basketball court in this case. The venue hosts Women's Basketball League Division 1 games and EuroLeague matches. The games are broadcast in high-definition HD. Due to this, we had to use professional LED floodlights with power ratings of 600W and 900W, featuring the appropriate color temperature of 5700K and a low flicker coefficient. The design also included several lighting scenarios for the hall, ranging from 75 lx to 1400 lx for TV broadcasts. During the installation phase, we needed to be on-site to precisely aim the fixtures to meet the required intensity, uniformity, and glare limitations. The project was a success, to the point where BC Polkowice secured the vice-championship in Poland in the 2023 season.
